Softlog Systems Launches Portable Production-Grade In-Circuit Service Programmer
ICP2-Portable Offers Compact, Cost-Effective Solution for Field Upgrades
December 23, 2010 - Softlog Systems today announced the release of its ICP2-Portable In-Circuit Service Programmer – the newest addition to its ICP family of high-speed, production-grade programmers for Microchip microcontrollers.
The ICP2-Portable is a compact, battery-powered device specially designed for use in the field. Convenient and easy to operate, it supports up to six discrete programming environments, making it an ideal and cost-effective solution for field upgrades.
In addition, each such environment includes a configurable counter that ensures the number of programmed devices does not exceed a pre-defined value, enabling customers to control the number of upgrades performed by their service personnel.
"We are pleased to announce the availability of the ICP2-Portable programmer, which combines fast production-grade programming with a special feature set catered to the unique needs of the service programming market," stated Ariel Cohen, VP Sales and Marketing at Softlog.
