Softlog Systems supports AT90CAN32/64/128 and ATmega169A…6490PA from Microchip Technology Inc.
March 30, 2025 – Softlog Systems (2006) Ltd., a leading provider of innovative in-circuit flash programming solutions, today announced the support of AT90CAN32/64/128 and ATmega169A/PA/329A/PA/3290A/PA/649A/P/6490A/P/PV devices.
The AT90CAN32/64/128 and ATmega169A…6490PA are low-power CMOS 8-bit microcontrollers based on the AVR enhanced RISC architecture. By executing powerful instructions in a single clock cycle, those devices achieve throughputs approaching 1 MIPS per MHz allowing the system designer to optimize power consumption versus processing speed.
The programming is done via SPI or JTAG interface, the following features are available via the “Options – Preferences” menu:
– “Atmel SPI faster programming” for faster programming of devices with slow clock
– “Force DM/EEPROM erase” for devices programmed with fuse “Preserve EEPROM during chip erase”
– “Reduce synchronization frequency” for more reliable connection.
The devices above are part of existing ICP programmer’s family/algorithm 59, Microchip/Atmel, ATmega/ATtiny with SPI/JTAG.
Since we started, Softlog Systems has been dedicated to developing the world’s best In-Circuit Serial Flash Programmers (single channel and GANG). For over 25 years, we have continued to expand and upgrade our line of products, which are recognized by manufacturers as high-quality, reliable programmers.
