ATSAM3X/A Family Devices Support

ATSAM3X_A device support

Softlog Systems supports SAM3X/A devices from Microchip Technology Inc.

October 29, 2025 – Softlog Systems (2006) Ltd., a leading provider of innovative in-circuit flash programming solutions, today announced the support of SAM3X/A devices.

The Atmel® SMART SAM3X/A series is a member of a family of Flash microcontrollers based on the high performance 32-bit ARM® Cortex®-M3 RISC processor. It operates at a maximum speed of 84 MHz and features up to 512 Kbytes of Flash and up to 100 Kbytes of SRAM.

ICP software and firmware support configuration bits: Lock Bits 0-31 and GPNVM including Security Bit.
Disabling the Security Bit can only be done by asserting the ERASE pin to logic level 1. All ICP family programmers can perform this operation by selecting:

Options → Preferences → Smart Hard Erase/Unlock.

The devices above are part of existing ICP programmer’s family/algorithm 60
(Microchip/Atmel, Cortex M3/M4/M7/PIC32CX-MTG).

Since its founding, Softlog Systems has been dedicated to developing the world’s best in-circuit serial flash programmers, offering both single-channel and GANG solutions. For over 25 years, the company has continued to expand and upgrade its line of products, which are recognized by manufacturers as high-quality, reliable programmers.
