Softlog Systems supports now HVSP programming for ATtiny devices from Microchip
January 6, 2026 – Softlog Systems (2006) Ltd., a leading provider of innovative in-circuit flash programming solutions, today announced support for HVSP (high-voltage serial programming) for ATtiny devices.
The ATtiny devices are low-power CMOS 8-bit microcontrollers based on the AVR® enhanced RISC architecture. By executing powerful instructions in a single clock cycle, the ATtiny achieves throughputs approaching 1 MIPS per MHz allowing the system designer to optimize power consumption versus processing speed.
In contrast to the already supported low-voltage SPI serial programming, HVSP allows reprogramming MCUs whose fuse settings prevent further SPI programming.
The devices above are part of existing ICP programmer’s family/algorithm 59 (Microchip/Atmel, ATmega/ATtiny with SPI/JTAG/HVSP).
