May 25, 2026 – Softlog Systems (2006) Ltd., a leading provider of innovative in-circuit flash programming solutions, today announced the support of AVR EA devices.
The AVR EA microcontrollers of the AVR® EA Family are using the AVR® CPU with hardware multiplier running at clock speeds up to 20 MHz. They come with 32 KB of Flash, 4 KB of SRAM, and 512 bytes of EEPROM. The microcontrollers are available in 28-, 32- and 48- pin packages. The AVR® EA Family uses the latest technologies from Microchip with a flexible and low-power architecture, including Event System, accurate analog subsystems, and advanced digital peripherals.
High-voltage entry is fully supported. It is required when the UPDI pin has been configured as a GPIO.
The supported devices are part of the existing ICP programmer family/algorithm
61 (Microchip/Atmel, ATmega/ATtiny/AVR with UPDI).
