No communication with ICP2-GANG(G3) from ICP for Windows
Answer
(A) Validate that all programmer channels are powered
– Remove power- Apply 12V and observe: – all GREEN and RED LEDs should turn on for about 1-2sec – blue POWER LED should be always ON
If (A])is OK then continue to (B) below
(B) Sometimes incorrect box number is assigned (2…16 instead of default Box=1) and then the software “can’t” see the programmer in GANG mode.
Try the following:
Step 1: Run “ICP for Windows”
Step 2: Enter “Menu – Communication – Select RS-232/USB/LAN COM” and select your COM, ***disregard*** error message
Step 3: Enter “Menu – Assign Address to GANG/COMBO Box” and press “BoxAddress=1”
